Cultivating Wellness Through CONVENIENCE

Born in Willmar, MN and raised in Apple Valley, Allison Dillon graduated from Minnesota State University Morehead with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN.  After being employed with Fairview Health for 15 years, Allison felt a desire to create a more purposeful journey in life by seeking alternative options for wellness.

She established Salus Wellness in 2021 to provide convenient intravenous vitamin therapy for clients seeking to improve their overall wellness without leaving the comfort of their own home. In 2022, Allison added a Wellness Suite in Hopkins, MN. More recently, the Savage, MN location opened. This is a wonderful option for those who would like a place to enjoy their infusion in a relaxing, calm environment.

Outside of operating Salus Wellness, Allison enjoys many activities including water skiing, wake surfing, yoga, reading and spending time with family and friends. She lives in Prior Lake with husband Brian, and is full-time mom to two children, Sam and Mia.

What is IV Therapy?

The most important benefit of intravenous vitamin therapy is that our bodies receive nutrients more efficiently, especially in comparison to oral consumption. Studies show that taking vitamins by mouth only allows for 20-30% absorption whereas receiving vitamins by IV allows for close to 100% absorption. Some reasons for this is digestive enzymes in our stomach interfere with the absorption process, often resulting in a loss in potency and stomach irritation. When vitamins are administered intravenously, the gastrointestinal side effects are mitigated, allowing for increased absorption by the body and higher deliverable doses.

When our bodies are out of balance with not enough vitamins and hydration, we experience it in all aspects of our lives. A decrease in essential vitamins and nutrients (especially micronutrients) can affect your body in ways which leads to a domino-like effect. Through the method of IV vitamin therapy we can help provide balance to electrolytes and vitamins. This may assist in calming busy minds, boosting energy levels, and improving overall physical function.

We understand it can be difficult to visit an emergency room when your body is weak from a cold, flu, or just overindulging. That's why we also come to you!
